This position involved managing reservation systems, balancing equipment based on demand throughout the state of Alaska/Yukon Territory, and leading a team of reservation managers within a call center setting. While optimizing our equipment to maximize revenue in a customer centric direction.

• Provided customer service by guiding Reservation Managers on customer service tactics and how to manage customer objections. Took on larger objections involving impacting situations that are significant to the organization and providing support to General Managers that need some further assistance.
• Analyzed market data to balance the equipment inventory and formulate and implement strategies to increase revenue through optimal equipment pricing.
• Trained team members on best practices and operational procedures. Assisted with training on field staff members with various positions as well as General Managers and Area Field Managers.
• Worked alongside the Repair Dispatch Manager to assist with routing trucks to the shop for preventative maintenance and ensure trucks/trailers are brought back into the fleet in a timely matter.

Started the position as an assistant manger, was soon promoted to General Manager within the year. Started at a location grossing one million dollars per year, then moved and opened the new U-Haul location on West Dimond Blvd grossing three million dollars within the first year.

• Staff management: hiring, training, mentoring and managing personnel to ensure that the location was staffed to operating standards. Including scheduling staff hours and managing payroll.
• Assist customers with truck, trailer, and storage rentals. Ensure high levels of customer service and responding to objections promptly.
• Performed profit and loss analyses, managed personnel budget, and tracked the cash till of the location including following up on bank deposits.

Worked under the owner of the company who is the licensed Journeyman Plumber and started the company many years before. Provided various tasks to assist the small business in a number of ways and to ensure to provide support.

• Assisted plumbers with installation and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Answered incoming phone calls to process requests, or relay messages to appropriate personnel.
• Maintained supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level and ordering new supplies when inventory runs low.
• Participated in emergency repair situations, providing prompt assistance to restore functionality quickly.
• Completed necessary paperwork diligently post-project completion for proper recordkeeping.
