• TJX (Homegoods) distribution center I worked for TJX since 2019. I was certified to work in almost every department on the floor, including shipping, receiving, large pack, NPK, the loops (upstairs section where the smaller merchandise is ticked sorted and boxed. It’s then placed on a conveyor belt system that delivers them directly to thestore, ready case pack, G pack, bulk ( forklift operator) and accuracy control. In the case of a shortage of employees or an increase in work volume I was able to transfer anywhere I was most needed. I was originally hired in the large pack department. Then transferred to Forklift driver for the majority of my time there. My last year, I transferred to accuracy control.
• Bulk truck forklift operator. Carried licenses to drive the Crown Electric standup forklift RC5500, short and long forks versions and the Crown TSP7000 Turret Truck. The TSP 7000 is a large turret truck used to put freight in the rack system for storage. As a bulk driver our responsibility was to safely but efficiently operate material handling equipment to transport goods within the distribution center.
• Accuracy control. The department, our main duty was to perform audits on other employees who work in the receiving and lay up departments. To perform the audit we Inspected a select number of incoming shipments for quality and accuracy, ensuring compliance with company standards. We were also responsible for routing on the incoming freight to the correct department..
• Assisted in inventory management, maintaining accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts.
• Collaborated with team members to streamline workflow processes, enhancing overall productivity.

Took and passed all prerequisites, including math, writing, human communications, multiple science classes. Was working towards my associates degree but have 2 more credits and to pass my certifications. Had to put it on hold because my son was born and I needed to work two jobs for financial reasons.

Graduated early. Only had to attend one class my senior year. Varsity Baseball.
