  • During my time at The Sourdough bakery I held the titles Lead Baker, Acting Manager, Barista and Cashier
  • As cashier I would assist customers with timely and cordial service, answer inquiries about the store, handle money and operate our POS
  • I will also include the making of sandwiches and bagels here, as that was one of the duties of the acting cashier, these responsibilities included keeping the sandwich area clean and well stocked and crafting sandwiches to order, accurately weighing the ingredients for consistency
  • As a lead baker my duties were to keep inventory of all food related items, keep the kitchen clean and sanitary and all dishes washed
  • I made sure we were up to stock on all bread and bakery items by mixing doughs, feeding the starter, and preparing baked goods from scratch
  • I ensured that all bread items were on display before the breakfast rush started
  • As acting manager my duties were to make any necessary changes to the schedule, make deposits for the stores income to the bank, contact vendors and suppliers for inventory, manage crisis and schedule and oversee maintenance services such as internet and pest control.
