My recent cyber security training paired with my personal use of virtual machines has just been the start of my journey into IT and cyber security. Currently seeking positions as a SOC analyst, cyber threat team and I am currently studying for PenTest+ Cert. I' am looking for the opportunity to start my new career, in which I can apply my knowledge to help myself and the business grow. I have over 15 years of hospitality and customer services experience in a wide range of industries; majority of which was positioned at managerial level or higher. Throughout my experience in various leadership roles, I have developed a strong appreciation for teamwork and collaboration. I believe true leadership is about supporting others and ensuring collective success. Utilizing my skills learned with hands on experience via virtual machines has equipped me with the knowledge of a great starting point to learn and easily merge to your company standards. I find threat hunting and risk management highly enticing and would love to experience that and more with this team.

• Cybersecurity Labs & Projects, University of Colorado & Technical Institute of America, I created home VM lab environments with Kali and Windows for more practice as well as learning ethical hacking techniques through TryHackMe.
• Vulnerability and Threat Management, Knowledge and practice with various techniques, tools and services such as DLP, SIEM, EDR. Implementing IPS and consistent monitoring of systems, applications and infrastructure.
• Networking, Administrative duties executed using Linux CLI including network configuration and system management. Utilizing security methodologies and tools such as 802.1X, VPNs, and Firewalls.
• Risk Management, Ability to demonstrate the importance of high-level security and implementing prevention tactics, as well as other system hardening techniques.
• Security Architecture, Knowledge and experience with virtualizations, maintaining high availability across networks, the essential use centralized and decentralized systems.
