I have rode and handled many horses in the past fourteen years, and have ran a million sets of barrels since then. In that time I've developed strong skills in animal care and training within a professional equestrian setting, and am looking to transition into a position more in line with my preferred discipline, barrel racing, and wanting to learn more about futurities as I hope to one day compete in them. I believe I am skilled in observing and interpreting animal behavior and implementing effective training strategies for overall better performance. I like to bring a collaborative and adaptable approach to any new role that comes my way, ensuring positive impact on team and tasks at hand.
I am an energetic and dedicated individual with a natural connection for animals and strong work ethic. I possess foundational understanding of equine behavior, accompanied with skills in animal care and riding techniques. I am committed to contributing to successful training and the well-being of horses through diligent and consistent efforts.
With my years of riding and barrel racing experience of handling horses and working with them, my ability to work hard, and my encouragement to learn more about the futurity world and all that it comes with, I believe I would be a worthy candidate of this position.
