• Present to younger students about the resources that are available to them
• Breaking the stigma that surrounds mental health

What I Gained:

I gained confidence with speaking in front of groups and gained awareness on how much mental health effects young children.

• Acted as a positive role model to set an example for my team.
• Maintained positive energy and bounced back quickly after mistakes to demonstrate to teammates how to respond to negative situations.
• Worked to build and strengthen relationships with teammates
• Discussed with the coach how to co-manage the team effectively

What I Gained:

I increased my ability to communicate effectively, learned different strategies for supporting people, and furthered my organizational skills.
