  • I was asked to be the Project Manager for the EHR implementation at a large and hospital offering many additional services in addition to our 174 inpatient hospital beds and 3 ERs.
  • Allowed me to show my skills as an innovative thinker and a responsive leader.
  • Took the responsibility of being the Lead Physician Experience. This included but not limited to collecting data, integrated testing, training, and modification to optimize their workflow. I have remained to be the primary communication and lead for the physicians.
  • Responsible for developing and organizing schedules and resources for End User Training.
  • Created strong partnerships with all clinical areas to facilitate seamless collaboration and improve communication to increase productivity and ensure thorough testing with all departmental transitions.
  • Managed cross-functional teams, resulting in seamless collaboration and increased productivity in clinical projects.

  • March of 2020 to March 2022: I was hospital supervisor for 3 ERs and 174 bed hospital. With this role I have taken on administrative duties while coordinating staffing through out the hospital and free standing ERs.
  • A few responsibilities included bed board control, managing internal and external patient transfers, reporting to State and EM Resource, ensuring quality care is provided by overseeing any nursing issues, responding to patient and visitor complaints with guaranteeing patient satisfaction, and completing injury reports after hours.
  • Managing ER lockdowns and assisting with disaster drills and initiations is also part of our responsibilities.
  • Having excellent communication with doctors and department directors is an important aspect of this position.
  • Everyday I make quick and accurate decision by using my knowledge and experience to handle unexpected situations that arise.

RN Float Pool

  • As a nurse in the float pool I go to different units every day. Units that I work in are ICU, ER, OB, Tele, Surgical, PACU, and free standing ERs in Quinlan and Commerce.
  • Awarded a "star" award for being the nurse of the month. This was voted by nursing staff and patient recognition notes.
  • Versatile and flexible with constantly changing units and assignments even moving to several different units in one day.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in high stress situations making quick decisions while keeping the patient as top priority.
  • I also have improved my communication skills when taking care of the mentally ill patients as I also worked on the psychiatric unit until they closed in 2019.

  • As a RN and BSN on the Resource Team (float pool) I traveled to four different hospitals. At these facilities I work as a floating nurse, meaning I worked at the most needed facility and unit. The two main areas that I worked were Intensive Care Units and Emergency Departments.
  • I had to use critical thinking more than any other skill because with every situation I assessed and thought through instead of being in a routine. S

  • 2013-2015: As shift manager in Intensive Care Unit my duty was to assess the entire unit’s needs and to assign patients to the appropriate nurse based on the patients plan of care. I also took responsibility for my nurses’ actions and addressed situations as needed. I displayed leadership and communication skills while I was a resource for my nurses and techs. Providing guidance and regulating patient flow was also in my job description. If my nurses or techs need help I was the first one to assist them.
