I have devoted my life to the service of others as you will see in my professional and personal life experiences below. I am highly motivated, task-driven and committed to the success of all those I work and come into contact with. I enjoy fostering a positive work environment for my fellow colleagues and those we serve. I truly have respect for the challenges that may come with public service and appreciate how being a team player is critical.
As a Secretary at Treasure, I contributed to maintaining a positive work environment by supporting colleagues and students when needed in various tasks and projects. I regularly updated Branching Minds with behavior data to ensure teachers and Administration had accurate, up-to-date information for intervention planning and student support. I managed phone communications and coordinated messaging between the front office and school staff. I led the coordination of Advisory periods to enhance academic support and student-teacher collaboration. I organized and administered PreACT 8/9 testing for 8th and 9th graders to promote readiness for future standardized exams. I oversaw the implementation and coordination of AP testing across the school. I contributed to the preparation and implementation of school-wide emergency readiness materials. While I’m excited for the next chapter ahead for our students and staff, I will truly miss Treasure
Working with both the girls and boys programs I was able to mentor youth, support program growth and foster player development. Coaching for the school I attended has been a rewarding, enriching and fulfilling experience
I was able to collaborate with the program head coach and team staff to provide student-athletes with the structure and support needed to thrive both physically and mentally
I assisted the head coach in developing the program and ensuring player needs were met through strategic support and mentorship
I have really enjoyed investing my time and emotion both professionally and personally into my former community particularly with student-athletes and their families as they navigate the world of competitive sport. As you can probably tell, I enjoy helping people on their journey to what's next, it's something I feel called to. What started out as 'just helping' turned into the creation of an amazing community.
As an employee of the same community-based service (11+years) I have extensive experience in an office and clinical setting. I have performed a wide variety of tasks and functions based on hospital, clinic and staff needs. I've worked with a wide variety of patients and staff, across all demographics.
Working in direct patient care, I assisted clinicians in providing the best care for their Physical/Speech/Occupational therapy patients. Some of my tasks included educating patients on their treatment plan, providing therapeutic modalities for pain relief, and the organizing and purchasing of materials including equipment, medications, and office/clinic supplies.
I have had the honor and privilege of volunteering in a public school system, with the focus group of students aged 11-18 y/o. I worked alongside teachers, administrators and other coaches to create an inclusive, safe and successful environment for students and their families. I worked alongside the Head Athletic Trainer by utilizing my first aid certifications and various skills sets.
I have learned many valuable lessons that I apply to both my professional life as well as my personal life.
