Analyzing numerous patient biological samples interpreting of laboratory results to provide accurate and timely diagnosis. Responsible for performing scientific testing on samples and reporting results to physicians. Performs quality control (QC) testing, develops skills and maintains competency in routine and assigned laboratory areas (Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Serology). Trainer and role model for Clinical Laboratory Scientist 1 staff and health care professional students. Experience using Abbott Cell-Dyn Sapphire, Iris, Stago Compact Max. BacT/Alert, Cell counts on body fuids using Hemocytometer. Sedimentation rates, WBC diferentials. Plating cultures (urine, blood, wound, csf, sterile site, stool, respiratory), Chemistry panels, troponins, ethanol, etc. (Abbott i2000, Abbott i4000), Osmometer.

Fast hands on training learning different hospital systems in a timely matter. Performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis and Serology using Cobras, Sysmex, Iris, Clinitek, ACL Top, GeneXpert, Bio Plex.
