I helped clean houses with my mother, donated money to an animal shelter, and raised fundraisers while in the honor society and used all of that money to buy needed supplies for the same animal shelter
The houses my mother and I clean for are for the elders
Most of these elders could not get up to clean their houses themselves, while some were too busy to clean their houses
We help all of them and clean what they want to be cleaned
The animal shelter when I donated the money had just started and needed some money for some small help
When we gave the supplies to the animal shelter from the honor society, they were very appreciative of our help
Section Leader
08.2023 - 10.2023
I was a section leader
It required me to talk to my section and lead them in a way that was respectful and helpful
We had what we called jobs to do in each section, it switched from time to time to allow everyone a chance to do these 'jobs.'
When I noticed that someone left without me noticing or did not help with any of the 'jobs,' I would talk to them at first
I would let them know that I would appreciate their help and cooperation
If it ever became I problem and that person was not listening to me, I would bring it up to my director and she would handle it from there
I did not have many issues with this role and handled everything in a good fashion
I was told by countless of my bandmates and by my director that I did a great job with this role and they are proud of that
