I served as the Assistant Manager of Events and Ministry Engagements, where I coordinated parish events, supported ministries, and led volunteer efforts across various programs. One of the most meaningful parts of my role was running our Homeless Hospitality program every Friday morning—welcoming guests, organizing meals, and building a consistent, caring volunteer team. I also managed logistics for standalone events, worked closely with ministry leaders to provide support, and kept communication flowing through regular emails and updates. I often spoke at small groups and community gatherings, helping foster connection and reflection. The role called for flexibility, heart, and a willingness to step in wherever needed - including the time I unexpectedly became the roofing expert.
