  • I’m currently working as a line cook at The 202 Tavern. I am trained in all the stations in the kitchen which include salad, sauté, flat, grill, and fryer. I also do most of the preparation of stock for daily/weekly needs. I also take care of the cleaning of the fryers, food orders through GFS and US Foods.

  • While at the James Watson House I worked as the Kitchen Manager. As the Kitchen Manager I helped hire and train employees, and scheduling. I also ordered food and other products for the restaurant using three different purveyors. I worked with my team members on the line calling out tickets, while running the grill and making sure plating looked good before food left the kitchen.

  • My main job responsibilities include: checking the event list to make sure all items needed for service are ready to go to the event venue, once at the venue I find the person in charge to find out all the details about the venue pertaining to the event. I also help set tables, fold napkins, arrange appetizer displays, set-up the buffet line to look presentable to the guest, I also help keep the buffet clean and stocked during dinner service. Another main part of my job is to make sure that everything is acceptable to the client then at the end of the night present them with the bill, and if they pay then it is my responsibility to get the check to the owner once the event is over.
