COAST GUARD COMMENDATION MEDAL, COAST GUARD ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL, IRAQ CAMPAIGN MEDAL

COAST GUARD COMMENDATION MEDAL:  Awarded for 24 years of service. Initiated a fleet wide change on a Maintenance Procedure Card after identifying an incorrect water regulating valve that continuously shut down the system.  The issue was addressed and a change was sent through the fleet, limiting the down time of the ships refrigeration systems.  Through superior level of leadership and technical expertise, conducted revitalization of units fresh water, saving the Coast Guard over $100.000 and ensuring the restored system met all safety guidelines.

COAST GUARD ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL: Awarded for service at Coast Guard Station St Clair Shores, Michigan. Overhauled units maintenance program to better facilitate and conduct proper maintenance and reporting of completed maintenance to make sure duplicate work was not conducted which cut down on errors.

IRAQ CAMPAIGN MEDAL/NAVY-MARINE CORP ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL: Awarded for service in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
