I have over 22 years experience in the oil and gas industry, with 15 years experience as a Driller. I have been mainly involved with drilling, but have also done completion and flow testing operations. I have worked in the US, Chile, Mexico, and Nigeria on numerous barge rigs, 2 jack-up rigs, and one hybrid semisubmersible rig. I made it a point to work every position on the rig before I took a drilling job so that I knew every position and all job responsibilities that were entailed with every position. I have a very strong work ethic, grounded in moral obligations, am self driven, and am a safe, efficient, dependable, loyal, honest, and hard working employee who prides myself on being able to get along with just about everyone I meet. I am a team player, and believe that when everyone does a little, no one does a lot because we all need to work together to achieve a common goal.

- As Driller, I was in charge of the drilling operations, running the rig while making connections, tripping pipe, running casing, testing the BOP stack, Choke Manifold, and Mud Pump standpipe, rig up & rig down of all equipment, etc. My responsibilities were first and foremost to ensure the safety of my crew and third party personnel on the rig throughout all drilling and completion operations, to monitor well conditions at all times for changes in pit volume, flow, pump pressure, drilling rate, mud weight or viscosity changes, changes in cuttings over the shakers, etc.- while drilling, tripping pipe, running wire line logs, running casing, etc. I am also responsible for ensuring the maintenance of the rig: cleaning, organizing, chipping, painting, lubricating, repairing, and completion of all paperwork: permits, inspections, JSA's, pre-tour and weekly safety meetings, IADC report, and making sure all rig operations are completed in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.

- As a Driller for Noble, I worked on a jack-up rig in the Bay of Campeche, Mexico. We were on a maintenance contract with Pemex, who essentially handled all of the drilling operations. We oversaw the operations of all drilling equipment on the rig, maintained our rig and equipment, and offered support to Pemex in the drilling operations as permitted. I was responsible for overseeing all operations during drilling, tripping, running casing, BOP testing procedures, rig up & rig down of drilling equipment and BOP's, etc. When equipment was down, I assisted in the repairs and maintenance of the equipment.

- I started as a Floorhand for AXXIS, and worked my way up to Driller.
- As a Floorhand, I was responsible for operating the pipe tongs & spinner wrench, pulling and setting slips, monitoring the trip tank and keeping track of the number of stands while tripping pipe. While drilling, I helped make connections, cleaned, chipped, and painted the rig, stored supplies, organized storage rooms, lubricated all equipment on the rig floor, checked the oil levels in the drawworks, Accumulator unit, and spinner wrench HPU, and relieved the derrickman for meals. I worked with the rest of the crew when rigging up and rigging down equipment, such as the BOP's & the mast. I also ran the rig cranes when needed for onloading/offloading equipment and supplies, picking up and laying down drill pipe and drilling tools, etc.
- As Derrickman, I monitored the mud pits for gain/loss, mud weight, viscosity, and sand content and notified the Driller of any changes. I monitored the mud pumps and repaired them when needed, transferred and mixed mud, pumped sweeps, pills, and slugs, kept the chemical barge neat, clean, and organized, and worked the derrick while tripping pipe, and occasionally worked the stabbing board while running tubing. I assisted the drill crew when rigging up and rigging down equipment, including BOP's & the mast. I also ran the rig cranes when needed for onloading/offloading equipment and supplies, picking up and laying down drill pipe and drilling tools, etc.
- As Motorman, I was responsible for monitoring the main rig engines and generators, performing routine maintenance and lubrication of all rig equipment, receiving, inventorying and stocking supplies, and helping out with the rig operations. I relieved the Driller for meals and breaks, and I also ran the rig cranes when needed for onloading/offloading equipment and supplies, picking up and laying down drill pipe and drilling tools, etc.

- I attended the training rig for R&B Falcon, and did well enough that instead of going to work on the rig as a Roustabout, they sent me straight to my first rig with them as a Floorhand. I was employed with them through the buyout with Transocean, and later the rebranding of the company to TODCO.
