Daily troubleshooting of equipment. Also running lathes, end mills and balance machines. Laser and dial indicator alignments to ensure longevity of the equipment. Changing of seals and bearings in the field. Also sitting and installing new equipment and doing routine PMs on machinery. Here I obtained my 15 ton carry deck Ncco and rigging Ncco. I was fortunate to have worked in 3 different units at the refinery. Each with their own specific equipment.

Ability to rig and flag, and worked as a step-up foreman, Here I am more involved in a wide range of job task. Such as assisting operations in equipment prepping, utilizing Microsoft programs to manage employee time sheets. Also to do scheduling for day-to-day task. I used the SAP program daily to get parts.

- At PPG ind. I started off loading and loading rail cars. After a few months I got moved over to maintenance millwright helper position. Once in this position, I worked on and rebuild rotating equipment, such as pumps, gearboxes, blower's fans compressors and agitators. Also worked on centrifuges and other specialty equipment that are involved in a pharmaceutical plant. Also did all lubrication routes on all of the equipment.
- Accomplishments
- At PPG I learned lock out and tag out procedures, and how important safety is for everyone. Also completed Lee college 2-year course for my Millwright certificate. Once I completed school I was promoted to Millwright journeyman.
