As an Azure DevOps Manager and Software Analyst, I have performed many roles including IT Help Desk, Support, Troubleshooting, Azure App Services, Azure DevOps Repository Management, SQL Code refactoring, creating new SQL scripts, gathering business requirements for User Stories, Software Testing with test cases in DevOps, Sprint Creations in DevOps, CI/CD (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery). Azure DevOps Manager/Software Analyst

  • As a MTAG team member, I played many roles throughout the years
  • I started as IT Support Help Desk and did many SQL updates required by the business processes. I would assign tickets to their appropriate user as needed.
  • The SQL work I have done has included CRUD operations, stored procedure development/updates, SQL view creation/updates, SQL job creation/updates and restoring databases as needed.
  • I also did work with SSRS reports for our company which included creating reports, updating reports, deleting reports, and managing SSRS hierarchy of our reports. These reports were intensive database driven created in Visual Studio.
  • I progressed to Software Analyst and Tester once Azure was implemented to our company and published code with Visual Studio during iteration releases. I also helped with simple code changes and database changes as time permitted.
  • In Azure DevOps, I have created Sprints for developers, User Stories, test cases, and the requirements for developers using Agile methodology. I made sprint dashboards for the developers and integrated through a Teams channel. I have continued my learning of Azure and Software testing utilizing every tool I can at my disposal. I have a good knack at finding items to update during my quality assurance of code changes.
  • I managed UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for users for each sprint. I would introduce them through email on what was needed to be tested in each sprint and managed any changes a user requested during UAT to the developers.
  • I took over Network Administrator duties for MTAG, which included managing employee's accounts, creating new accounts, disabling accounts, managing email and security roles for users in Active Directory and Azure. I would also introduce new hires to our system and in-house applications in a introductory meeting.
  • I attend a morning meeting every day with our COO to confirm our applications, SSRS reports, and network is ready to go with no issues. If there were any issues, then that would be my top priority of the day.
  • I facilitated a transfer of our phone services from Vonage to Connectivity Univerge Blue. I am currently managing our phone system which includes troubleshooting any issues with the phone system or users, assigning new phone new numbers, forwarding phone numbers after termination of a user, and managing voicemails and auto attendants.
  • I have worked in our call center for a few months taking calls from the public regarding any issue they may have with their property tax liens. I currently do this duty for two hours a day.
