I had to do a 360 degree inspection on the haul trucks everyday before I could drive them. I had to keep the inside of the cab clean everyday. I had to follow the speed limits. There was traffic coming in and out of the site because it was on a power plant. We transported dirt from the barrow pit to the recycle pond to cap ash ponds. I had to follow instructions from the dozer hands so they could fill in certain spots. I had to also watch my weight and soft spot because I could sink pretty easy on site

• I had to learn all kinds of dangerous chemicals and had to have my asbestos qualifications in some different states
• I learned how to drive a haul truck
• I learned how to operate a mini excavator/ tailor handler/forklift/roller/ skidster

• I had to sort through boards and had to know the right grade of board for the designed truss
• I was a sawyer and had to make the right cuts for the truss design and had to check for the quality of the boards

• I was qualified to grade different types of wood and quality of the specific wood
• I ran a forklift for tricon and loaded and unloaded rail cars and there was little time to make any mistakes or you fell behind
• I operated a stacker and maintained it and always made sure it was going
• I was also a green chain pulling so i had to work hard by pulling all kinds of different woods and make sure we did not have to shut down operations so it was very physical work
