  • Developed, implemented and executed an effective quality management program in the completion of an $890K Explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) Boat storage facility. Submitting daily, weekly, and monthly QC/Safety reports, daily project progression and leading 23 personnel in the correction of multiple grave quality control issues. This driving completion of the 2,800SF facility became mission critical for EOD to resume their operations in the pacific.
  • Directed daily project briefings, providing timeline updates, daily goals, recommendations and custom solutions. Develop a thorough understanding of the technical difficulty of the project phase, and assigned individual tasks to the appropriately skilled crew members assigned to the job.
  • Created project plans with established timelines for integral phases, assigned the appropriate team, managed workflow and completion deadlines on or before schedule. Tasked with constructing two 16’ by 48’ SEAHUTS that will house medical students in training prior to their departure for deployment missions in the middle east. Ultimately supporting I Marine Expeditionary Force, Commander Third Fleet and Navy Expeditionary Combat Command strategic objectives.

As the lead Facilities Operations Specialist (FOS), these revisions included a more pro-active approach to utility outage coordination, customer feedback reports, and scheduling and overseeing the meetings required to receive necessary updates and reports from all FOS within the Facilities Maintenance Division (FMD).
  • Responsible for facility management and sustainment support including maintenance, repair and construction services for facility structures, associated electrical and mechanical services. Demonstrate experience as a key facilitator and manager in evaluating, planning, and coordinating more than 40,800 maintenance actions within 450 facilities throughout two fully operational naval air stations. In doing so, this ensured operational readiness for 50 tenant commands.
  • Allocate resources to make use of manpower, equipment and facilities to support organizational programs. Including proactively managing/supervising the coordination of 350 utility outages throughout two operational installations ensuring 400 preventive maintenance actions, 200 mission essential repairs, and 30 Utility, Energy, and Management projects were successfully executed.
  • Supervised employees and outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, and equipment via the execution of facilities program objectives in order to identify areas in which special and unique attention is needed. This includes more than 300 construction projects totaling 22 million dollars. These projects included a complete gymnasium renovation, an artificial turf multipurpose sports complex, three shade structure projects, the re-surfacing of two tennis courts, a complete lift station replacement, and the complete renovation of a 30,000-gallon swimming pool..
  • Reviewed designed plans/documents/specifications for completeness and compliance with customer requirements on assigned projects. These requirements include 40,800 work orders for maintenance actions, 300 scopes of work, and 400 cost estimates totaling 22 million dollars and being dispersed to PWD trade’s persons as well as Base Operating Support Contract (BOSC) contractors and various independent contractors as well.
