Outside Electrical Shop Code 958

● Coordinated and managed supply requisitions for Code 958, properly ordering 309 correct parts for more than 100 Formal Work Packages, spanning across DDG, DDG-1000, CG, LPD, L and LCS platforms.

● Oversaw the proper completion of over 30 Formal Work Packages.

● Responsible for the Electrician’s Mate training for SWRMC, including training for NAMTS Outside Electrical Repair Technician (NEC 4651) qualification.

● Performed maintenance, repair and alterations in electrical systems, and maintained power and lighting circuits (450V and 120V), electrical fixtures, galley equipment, industrial laundry equipment, waste management equipment, motors, motor generators, controllers, and switchboards to maintain mission readiness.

● Ensured the quality and standards of maintenance and repair delivery were met; directed and monitored technical development; evaluated repair actions and addressed concerns.

● Coordinated and worked with outside ship activity in depot level repairs prior to INSURV inspection increasing mission readiness.

● Responsible for creating, tracking, and overseeing the completion of over 100 CSMP jobs.
