Supply Clerk

  • I worked as a Supply Clerk where I handled the supply room and kept everything organized on a daily basis. I helped issue and track uniforms for over 150 cadets and made sure everything was properly entered and updated in the system. Most of my job was keeping things organized so cadets could get what they needed without issues, and I got recognized by instructors for doing the job well enough to be recommended for promotion.

Chief of Supply

  • After that I became Chief of Supply where I was in charge of the supply clerks and made sure they were doing their jobs correctly. I still worked hands on with the supply room but I also had to oversee everything and make sure uniforms, records, and inventory were all being handled the right way. A big part of my role was fixing problems before they became issues and keeping everything running smoothly day to day.

Special Projects Officer

  • After that I became Special Projects Officer where I started planning and running big battalion events for over 300 cadets. My job was to come up with ideas, plan the events, and make sure everything was set up correctly so they would actually work on the day of the event. One of the events went so well that we ended up running it again because so many people showed up and enjoyed it. Most of my work was making sure everything from activities to timing to setup was organized.

Current Role, Trip Planning and Logistics

  • Right now I handle planning for battalion trips. This includes figuring out where we are going, how we are getting there, where we are staying, and where we will eat. I also help plan the routes and schedules and make sure everything is set up ahead of time since these trips take weeks or even months to fully organize. My job is basically making sure large group travel runs smoothly and nothing is missed before we go on the trip.

Lawn Care Worker

  • I worked cutting lawns for clients in my area for around 6 years. I handled basic lawn care like mowing, trimming edges, and cleaning up yards after each job. A big part of the job was making sure every yard looked clean and finished before I left. I managed my own schedule since I moved from job to job and had to show up on time for each client. I also made sure I used equipment safely and kept everything in good working condition.

Accomplishments

  • Basic Leadership Training and Leadership Training
  • I completed Basic Leadership Training and Leadership Training through NJROTC over a total of 14 days, with 7 days for each course. The training was very physically and mentally demanding and required waking up early around 4 AM each day for physical training. We did intense workouts including 5 mile runs in the morning along with structured PT sessions and daily military-style training. At the end of both trainings, I had to pass a physical fitness test that included push-ups, curl-ups, and a timed mile run that had to meet a required standard in order to earn my cord. The training taught me discipline, leadership, and how to perform under pressure while working in a structured team environment.
