Since 2016, I have been a peer mentor to fellow young adults recently diagnosed with cancer. This is a volunteer - run program specifically for breast cancer patients and survivors. I offered emotional support as well as tips on how to balance life during the difficult time of treatment to newly diagnosed patients.
