Criswell Whisenhunt

This was a promotion from my previous position. So, along with my other duties I now prepare my team of drivers to go out and deliver. Depending on the day I would still be on the road delivering. I also “dispatch” which includes paying attention to everyone on the road and making sure they are safe and delivering while also answering any questions they may have. This is, in simplest terms, a management position.

• Managing, repairing, and organizing our delivery vans. On a daily basis I make sure all vans are good to go on route, while either repairing or scheduling a repair on vans that are in need of it. I also assist with dispatch in coaching drivers.

• This position was mostly organizing and delivering packages. It was a very active position, and required interaction with customers. I liked to pride myself on my speed and safety while also putting a smile on the customers face. I was promoted from this position for that reason.

• I worked the floor of an oil rig for a small company based out of Cisco. My primary responsibility involved rigging up, rigging down, running the hydraulic tongs, and all with the intention of removing pipe and rods. We would diagnose and repair pump jacks and it was very labor intensive. The only reason I lost this job was due to an illness that has since been resolved.

• Performed preventative maintenance on vehicles, resulting in reduced long-term costs for clients and improved vehicle reliability.

I would take phone calls to place orders, and would be our general customer service representative while I was on shift. I would also safely deliver pizzas to customer’s front doors in a timely manner.
