I believe I am right for this job because I have a passion for it. I love working with children, I always have. I havent really gotten an opportunity like this previously, so I'm very excited to learn and get the job done right if I am hired! The highlights of my day as an intern were helping out were I could, of course with the children mostly, however when my children's teacher relied on me to get something done it was heartwarming to know I could be relied on to help when needed.
This was my internship in highschool that got me so very interested in becoming a teacher, of assistant teacher. Working with children and helping with of any sort has always been something I wanted to do. I was mostly in charge of leading the class to different rooms, helping grab prints and passing out papers. Helping the children with their assignments when they got confused. The children I were with were Preschool and Kindergarten.
I was in charge of the weekly catalog for our items on sale. I would take down and put up about 100 signs a week for advertising products on sales. As well as organizing special shelving placements for the most low priced items.
Working with a team of about 8 other people, I organizing shelving, changed prices around the store and set up displays for holiday events.
I was a shift manager. I was in charge of making sure tasks were completed by end of day and organizing breaks and cash from the safe and registers
