I have a passion for teaching Science. I have been in summer trainings and cadres to further my background knowledge to help my students better understand the content. I have been writing and receiving a grant every year since 2015 through a group called ICAP. When I started teaching 5th grade, our Science scores were 16%. Through my taking the initiative, planning, and running Science curriculum and supplies, our grade scores have risen to 34 - 44%.

I have taught Math for the past three years as well and attended a Math cadre to better my Math teaching skills. I have a track record of out performing my school in Math and Science proficiency scores.
