Administrative Analyst

Under the general direction of the Associate Dean, human resource analyst, assists in implementing campus HRDI policies that promote the recruitment, professional development, and retention of a highly qualified, diverse faculty and staff in the college.

  • Serves as the liaison with HRDI for the College’s faculty regarding leaves, sabbaticals, FERP, retirements, emeritus requests, faculty contracts, entitlements, evaluations, and promotions.
  • Assists in developing and implementing procedures and adherence to policies to enhance departments operations about financial and human resources.
  • Assists with the organizational plans that create an optimal structure to support the college in achieving its goals and objectives.
  • Provides lead direction to staff on human resources processes, systems, and policies, while providing co-lead direction on financial matters.
  • In consultation with college leadership, oversees processes associated with tenure track searches.
  • In collaboration with the Associate Dean, exercises knowledge of relevant collective bargaining agreements and contract questions.
  • In collaboration with the Associate Dean, manage staff recruiting, hiring, and appointment processes, including the CHRS system.
  • In collaboration with the Budget Analyst, developing complex analyses and financial reports, formulating scenarios, monitoring expenditures and account balances, and ensuring that expenses do not exceed budget/revenue.
