Director/AAU Basketball Coach

  • Str8 Hoopin’ Incorporated is non-profit organization that was started to support the youth community of Bastrop County to achieve its goals by providing basketball training and mentorship. Bullying has been an ongoing issue within the schools and with youth all around; providing tools and programs to get the youth in the community together doing positive things and implementing programs to reduce bullying. We also provide basketball camps and training in the community that will help create well-rounded student athletes and help prepare them for achieving goals of not only playing in college, but attending and being successful. We have formed AAU teams under the non-profit and placed 1st place out of 29 teams in Austin, TX GameTime basketball tournament March of 2024.

  • Coached 2 boys basketball teams 3rd grade-8th grade. I was responsible for coaching, character development and providing direction to student athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork in basketball. Won a total of 14 championship tournaments throughout the 4 years of coaching.
