Answer
With my many years in law enforcement I saw and dealt with people of all demographics. I am proficient and communicating with people in their dire times of need. I am able to communicate in a non judgemental manner and have been able to break barriers otherwise there with people who did not want to talk to law enforcement at all. I have been able to gain trust with people who have called or came in for help in a way that they would continue to contact me if they had additional needs or questions. As a dispatcher I was able to “investigate” a person through the many systems that we had available to use in a manner to help the law enforcement officers responding to a scene, looking for a suspect or attempting to locate a victim have a better understanding of what they were looking for as well as better locations of where they might be located at. I have had a wonderful relationship with not only the law enforcement family in Bonners Ferry but I began my career in Troy and have kept friendships with many still in their roles of law enforcement through the years. I have helped with some investigative cases through the years which involved cases of abuse, missing persons, drug activities, murder and lewd and lascivious acts to children.
