I use Microsoft Word docs to do our morning hurdles, MA Competencies checklist, create letters to patients, check sheets for referrals, and create forms and signage for the office. Creating these things has assisted with our clinic flow, training and organization in the clinic. I double check our paper block schedule with the EHR to make sure our paper schedule matches what the computer says. This helps prevent patients getting scheduled on a day the doctor is not there or vice versa that the doctors schedule is open and not blocked for patients to be scheduled.
