Energy Efficiency Education Coordinators design, coordinate, and deliver educational programs aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of energy efficiency and conservation along with STEM education for students in grades Pre-K through 12th grades. This role involves creating engaging content, conducting workshops, and collaborating with Georgia Power employees, school system employees and students.

-Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs, collect data, and prepare reports on program outcomes and impact.

-Work with internal teams, including marketing, communications, and technical experts, to align educational initiatives with company goals and strategies as well as educational standards.

-Represent the company at community events, fairs, and other public forums to promote energy efficiency and career awareness.

-Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in energy efficiency and education to continuously improve program offerings.

-Maintained various roles during storm restoration including, Damage Assessment Driver, Logistics and DAT Coordinator.

Played a crucial role in promoting energy efficiency education, literacy and sustainability within a community to low income and senior citizens who qualified and received energy efficient home improvement from the UGA Weatherization grant.

-Engage with the community through events, presentations, and partnerships to promote energy-saving practices and sustainable living.

-Manage and distribute educational resources, such as brochures, videos, and interactive tools, to support energy education efforts.

-Advocate for energy policies and practices that support sustainability and environmental stewardship within the community and organization.
