  • Assistant in Arraignments and Prelims– enter in everything the judge orders (MRO’s, mittimus/jail, probation and any fines and court costs) and enter in a minute orders for each case as well preparing warrants for those who have failed to appear as well as distributing documentation to the right places after court.
  • Bailiff in Arraignment and Prelims - unlock and lock the courtroom, check in defendants, match up the in custody sheets with the files, distribute files to District Attorney or Public Defenders, once the file is ready to be sent up, I prep files with the correct and accurate information for the clerk and judge, review all cases for accuracy and compliance of rules, schedule court dates with Private Attorney’s if needed and make sure all cases have been sent up to the judge.
  • Video Advisal's for in custodies/Traffic Court Assistant - Prepare Broomfield and Adams County In custodies to be advised by preparing Pretrial Services Reports and making copies of each case. We then set an upcoming date for each case as well as enter in the dates into Eclipse. I match the file with the Pretrial Service Report and take all prepared cases to the Magistrate with all necessary information. Once the defendant is advised and I receive the files back from the Magistrate, I enter in bond amounts that have been set or adjusted and any MRO’s that have been issued and then I scan all Pretrial Services Reports and MRO’s into JPod.
  • Clerk in Traffic Court - prepare all cases to give to clerk and judge and enter in a minute order for each case
  • Scan all documentation from all 8 divisions that need to be scanned in everyday
  • File any old files we still have need to be filed in appropriate spots
