Summary

Dynamic Adoption Counselor with a proven track record at Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA, excelling in community engagement and budget management. Spearheaded outreach programs that significantly enhanced public participation and established vital partnerships. Known for creativity and integrity, I championed initiatives that improved local welfare and fostered a collaborative environment. It was important to remember not to judge these families we're looking for the best, safest home not the perfect home for every animal. Without a doubt the shelter is not the perfect home for any animal they all tend to go downhill within weeks of being stuck in the shelter and without the consistency of their families, we work hard to make their stay at the shelter as pleasant as possible but the shelter is not a home no matter how attached we get. It's imperative that we put our feelings aside and do what's best for the animal and the families.
