I am still in orientation but will be providing care to pediatic patients in their home.

• Gave meds, started IV’s, administrated IV antibiotics
• One of my units was secure units with locked doors for about 30 residents
• Ambulation and ADL’s varied
• Responsible for assessing new residents and make the determination if residents needed to to go to the ER for their injuries.

• Chart audits using MCG guidelines with Indicia
• Also assessed new patients to ensure they were going to a facility that can take of them after discharge
• Patient care and family needs were a priority as well as maximum reimbursement to the hospital.

• Currently working in Peri-operative services as a prn staff member in pre-admissions and day surgery.

• Responsible for 16 direct reports and the oversight for all clinical activity for 11 departments.

• Faculty (Instructor) for the Vocational Nursing Program.

• Supervisor for the Chronic Disease Management Coordinator, Clinical Trainer/Specialist and two Certified Medical Assistants
• Responsible for all clinical competency and quality throughout the clinics

• Responsible for implementing EDM (Emergency Department Module) in all the San Antonio emergency rooms along with CPOE (4/11-10/11).

• Responsible for Meditech Nursing and EDM Module (Magic)
• Experience with OE, PCI, MIS, EDM, POM, Physician documentation, BMV/eMAR, Clinical Review, ADM, RXM.

• Responsible for implementing clinical analysis and statistical reporting for evidence based Clinical Pathways and Clinical Practice Guidelines
• Used Care Science product to help track outcomes, physician profiling and reporting of statistically significant data.

• Performed multiple duties for two Board Certified Cardiologists.
