Affiliations

  • Created and led STEAMQuest for 2023 and 2024- STEAM competition between 4 schools in Chesterfield County (about 150 students in grade second through fifth). I worked with a team to create the challenges; planned a budget for supplies, shirts, food for volunteers, and other needs; organized and trained 50 volunteers for the event.
  • Created and led a virtual STEAM competition in 2021 for students at AM Davis. I created the challenges, ordered supplies and shirts for students, organized volunteers to create supply bags, and trained volunteers to judge the competition.
  • Annually creates the school-wide daily schedule and the resource class schedule including employee's requests.
  • Wrote several grants to expand our 3D printing capabilities at AM Davis Elementary School.
  • Led and Organized a school-wide "Genius Hour" event. Students researched a topic of their choice and created a presentation, of their choosing, to share what they learned to other students, faculty, and families at Hopkins Elementary.
  • Worked with our local 4 H Organization to create a garden at Hopkins Road ES and create an afterschool garden club for all students.
  • Wrote several grants to install a raised garden at Hopkins Road Elementary School.
  • Awarded one of the 2018 MCD Awards (grant) by the Chesterfield Education Foundation for creating a Maker Space in a school’s library
