• Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care for adult and pediatric patients in Phase I and Phase II recovery.

• Assess, monitor, and manage pain utilizing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.

• Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient recovery.

• Educate patients and families regarding postoperative expectations, discharge instructions, and home care.

• Delivered post-anesthesia nursing care for patients undergoing pediatric, ENT, orthopedic, podiatry, spine, vascular, OB/GYN, urology, cardiac thoracic, general, bariatric, and cardiac catheterization procedures.

• Monitored patient recovery, vital signs, medications, and treatment responses.

• Identified and addressed potential postoperative complications through ongoing assessment and clinical judgment.
• Administered prescribed medications and interventions to support safe recovery.

• Served as Charge Nurse, Unit Preceptor and Unit Practice Council Chair.

• Participated in shared governance committees and quality improvement initiatives.

• Provided nursing care across multiple hospital departments including Medical-Surgical, ICU, Orthopedics, Mental Health, and Emergency Department.

• Adapted quickly to varying patient populations and clinical environments.

Acted as a resource nurse and collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of patient care.
