• Scale internship is a well-rounded research and workforce development contract which focuses on major projects and internship matching, mentoring many students they specialist on radiation-hardening, heterogenous integration/advanced packaging and system on a chip
• We are in charge of attending weekly meetings for more information about different opportunities presented such as Internship,Co-op, and post graduate opportunities

WEARABLE AUDIO RECORDING SYSTEM FOR ORNITHOLOGY

Organization: S.C.A.L.E

• Monitored the vocal behavior of birds to help ornithologists better understand the behavior of certain birds
• The system should record the songs of the birds and store the data in a micro-SD card or wireless-ly send the recorded audio data into a remote receiver
• Create a prototype of microphone. Determine design of all components needed for recording.

• Developed technical skills through training and shadowing experienced professionals.
• Communicated with engineering team to discuss methods to improve process and performance.
• Performed calculations according to standard procedures.
• Read and interpreted blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Gathered and organized documents, drawings and specification packages.
• Focused on Development of the Reliability Center Maintenance Program

H2O In The Desert Program:

NMSU has been paired with the DAVINCI mission, which is under development at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and will launch to Venus in the late 2020s.

• Weekly meetings, in which we will discuss NASA science and engineering topics, professional development topics,
• Once a month we will be joined (virtually) by our NASA mentors from the DAVINCI at Goddard.
• Maintained positive work atmosphere by building relationships with co-workers, customers, clients, and management.
