  • My duties included being the Intensive treatment unit caseworker; I assist the Inmates that are currently in the ITU program , I update their case plans, prepare their parole summaries, facilitate 90 day reviews for ITU, and monthly case management meetings with each inmate. I enter the inmates re entry plans for the community, working with the inmates the agents as well as facility staff to prepare and coordinate the conditions set forth by the parole board in their parole grants into their re entry plans to make sure that all aspects of the parole grant are met. I assist in facilitating inmate housing based on the inmates internal and external gender specific classification module, updating their classifications as well as assisting the unit manger with housing when she is absent along with any other unit management duties that may arise in her absence. I have coordinated interstate compact paper work and travel permits for the facility , purchasing bus tickets and keeping track of the credit card purchases for the programming department to deliver to the business office at the end of each month. I work with general population case workers training the case mangers in completing reviews of inmate classifications, progress reports, release plans, monthly meetings with inmates, reviewing inmate to inmate correspondence in correlation with policy and the case management FTO modules as a Field training officer for the programming department. I teach 8 hours of programming to the inmate population each week, I have taught, Thinking for a Change, Thinking for a change after care, Boundaries, Pre Release, Trauma in Life, Moving Beyond, and Women in Recovery. I have also assisted in facilitating the parole board process and coordination in the parole schedule for the logics for the facility and parole board. My other additional duties include CPR instructor, and Krav Maga instructor for the Wyoming Women's Center and Department of Corrections.

As a correctional officer I supervised inmates observing inmate behavior and enforcing the rules and regulations of the facility according to operational procedure and policy. I was fire arms certified and worked as transport officer and transported inmates to medical appointments, as well as transported sentenced inmates from county jails to the Women's Center. As a deputy sheriff my duties included enforcing the state statues/civil processes, patrolling county roads, criminal investigations, transporting prisoners, court security, interview and interrogations of both civil and criminal complaints. Community policing within the jurisdictions of Lusk, Manville, Lance creek, Van Tassel and Niobrara county. I assisted with emergency management, arson investigations, sexual assault investigations, traffic accident investigations. I was certified with the U.S Marshall Service for court security and high risk prisoner transport, and other additional duties assigned by the Sheriff.

  • As a detention deputy my duties included supervising county and federal inmates in accordance with the sheriffs departments written policy's as well as the Wyoming and Untied states constitution . I also provided court room security for civil and criminal court proceedings. I transported inmates to and from federal court, as well as provided security for inmates during transports to medical and dental appointments. As a detention officer I was required to be taser and fire arms certified. Additional duties that I was assigned as a detention deputy was to assist the detention supervisor in the supervision of the juvenile justice program and supervised the court ordered supervision of the juvenile offender as a juvenile probation officer.

Accomplishments

As Sensiable nutrition educator I have taken multiple course to enhance my professional development, While I was a case worker at the Wyoming Women's center I was a CPR instructor, Krav Maga Instructor, Field training officer for the caseworkers. I was also given the honor of being recognized as Exemplary Employee for year 2017-2018. As a Sensiable nutrition educator also have been privilege to work with the First Gordon the Wyoming hunger initiative and supporting a solution for food insecurities in the community and Wyoming. I also give back to my community in multiple ways by volunteering as a shooting sports instructor for the 4 H program. I am a hunters ed safety instructor, I currently am the republican North committee women for North Lusk District Niobrara county. I am a volunteer for the Niobrara county search and Rescue.

Additional Information
