  • Provide compassionate and person-centered reproductive and gynecological care to clients from adolescence through menopause, in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Attend births, repair lacerations, perform contraceptive counseling and education, insertion/implantation of IUD & Nexplanon, perform pap smears and endometrial biopsies, limited OB US, prenatal care, postpartum care, menopause care and hormone replacement management.
  • Manage the OB ED as the attending provider.
  • Coordinate care with physicians when necessary for high risk pregnancies or complicated births.
  • Manage emergencies regularly, including shoulder dystocia, retained placenta and postpartum hemorrhage, ensuring patients are both safe and informed on what is occurring.
  • Teach OB/GYN & FM Residents and CNM & WHNP students in the clinical setting.
  • Member of North American Menopause Society. Sitting for Expert Certification Exam in Menopause care, October 2024.
