Teach engaging lessons created from research-based, standards-aligned curricula. These curricula aim to serve as windows and mirrors for our students to help them understand more about the world and themselves.

• Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction across grade levels and subjects in support of teacher absences.
• Support student development by addressing academic and non-academic needs, fostering emotional well-being, and promoting college readiness.
• Collaborate with the Culture Team and Dean of Student Operations to build positive school culture and manage behavioral interventions.
• Strengthen home-school relationships through Spanish translation and cultural liaison work.
• Participate in student programming, including panels on HBCUs and Divine 9 organizations.
• Uphold consistency by implementing school-wide systems and maintaining open communication with students, families, and staff.

• Developed a 9-module course to expand HBCU access across underrepresented populations.
• Facilitated global student recruitment and cultural exchange to increase HBCU matriculation.

• Designed and taught courses on hip hop & leadership, conflict resolution, and activism.
• Led Spanish CLEP prep and college writing courses, emphasizing cultural competence and student engagement.

• Led program for first-generation and low-income students; integrated advising models including Bandura’s and Astin’s theories.
• Managed caseload of 30+ students, boosting transition and retention through targeted support.

• Created and implemented conflict resolution curriculum adopted for orientation programming.
• Enhanced student safety through innovative reporting and policy development.
• Oversaw Living Learning Communities to build faculty-student connections.
