I started out their as a strip man / floater . I would help out in different departments of the plant such as working in the framing shed gaining poles , peeling bark off of the poles , cutting tops and butts off that was bad with chainsaws . I also would work sometimes in the classing shed , classing is taking measurements of the pole size and length recording it on paper keeping count of each one that we made that day. Down the line I started unloading the dry kiln loading poles in a rack pushing then in a large size oven that would dry the light poles out with a front-end loader.
