As Machine Operator I am responsible for operating various manual and automated equipment in the bottling production process. I safely set up machines for production runs while replenishing needed materials. I operate under strict guidelines of company SOP's and have a natural habit of practicing GMP's.

As forklift operator I worked in procurement operations. Utilizing the SAP system to receive raw materials from incoming vendors. Proper storage with forklift and other warehouse equipment such as hand jacks and cherry pickers were also a part of daily operations. Once raw materials were received, I then issued needed materials to the production lines with forklift adhering to Bacardi and OSHA safety regulations.

Assigned at one of Randstad’s most demanding sites, Bacardi Bottling Corporation, I mastered the operations of plant bottling equipment and executed change overs in a timely manner. Practiced ideal 5S standards with adherence to OSHA regulations.

Duties included, but were not limited to, working Pilers 1 and 2, material handling, reclaim (recycle) department, and inspection center. Each position is essential to producing ALPOLIC material. Production responsibilities included setting up the Piler to cut the proper length/width of material by inputting the proper specifications into the piler control panel. Performed quality inspections to ensure the best material was being produced. I was also the point of contact with the shipping and receiving department and I exercised positive motivation to challenge team members to progress plant production.

Performed proper set up and operation of production equipment in accordance with G.M.P.’s and S.O.P.’s. Produced products meeting required daily quota. Set precise adjustment alignment of production equipment. Collated components for assembly and administered quick and efficient change overs for different product models. Quality inspections of products were vital.
