Curtis Johnson

Curtis (CJ), has been in entertainment since the mid-80s. CJ has always been an entertainer from his early days of traveling and singing as a teen with the Jordan Gospel Singers in Rochester, New York. As a college student in the early 90s, CJ was privileged to perform with the renowned FAMU Gospel Choir in Tallahassee, Florida for 3 years. After college, CJ continued to dabble in music in any way possible. CJ has assisted or started Praise and Worship teams at two churches in the greater Atlanta area. Curtis has also been selected as the main character for several acting roles with local church productions in Tampa, Florida, and Atlanta, Georgia respectively. These days, CJ finds himself more as a family man first entertainer second. His calling on his life is always on display whether he makes people laugh or feel good about themselves through music at private events, parties, or living rooms. When you ask CJ, "Why did you get into entertainment?" Stated, "To make people forget about the world for a while through music and laughter at the chaos of mine!" CJ's style of music is best described as a personal invite into his world and happenings while addressing the world around us! If you are looking for a singer or MC who is professional on and off the stage, who can perform on big Stages, small stages,or your living room, CJ is the man for the job!
