As a conductor I am in charge of the operation and handling of the train. The engineer has to communicate with me prior to making any movement of the train. I am communicating with numerous people daily receiving directions and orders.It is my job to make sure the engineer is complying with speed restrictions and operating in a safe manner. If the train breaks down in route it is my job to fix it. Upon arriving at destination, I communicate with dispatchers and yard masters as to how to put the train away in a safe and timely fashion.
I delivered building materials to customer locations with a box truck. Was the safety leader for our location and was also nominated Employee of the year 2013
started out as a parts counter associate and worked my way up to Parts Manager and then to a key carrying Sales Manager. Duties included training and scheduling staff, maintaining work orders from District Manager, maintaining appearance of store, finding ways to increase add on sales, handling any customer complaints and also making sure customer satisfaction was maintained.
