My Non-Profit career spans over 25 years, during that time I’ve managed budgets ranging from $1.5 million dollars to up to $21 Million. Managed $80 million dollar bond funded capital projects. Raised over 1.2 million over the 8 8ears years through Annual Campaign Led multiple capital campaigns for facility improvements and expansion totaling over $100 million dollars. Trained over 500 staff in CPR/First Aid/AED and all trainings required by Georgia Childcare Licensing agency, Bright from The Start Increased Board participation from 5 members to over 20 active members from 2012 to 2020 Developed a succession plan to assure Board chair, vice chair, and campaign chair will be in place for following years. Improved annual campaign giving by focusing on face-to-face giving to assure long-term giving. Partnered with United Way and secured community grant to provide program services to teens living in apartment complex. Lead the process of licensing the first recreation center in DeKalb County, Ga. to provide After School services and Summer Camp Created the first partnership with the new city of Stonecrest, Ga. to provide After School, Youth Sports, and Summer Camp services. Established the first community partner breakfast to engage local business and stakeholders with the YMCA to support Annual and Capital Campaigns Lead the creation of a strategic partnership with the city of Norcross, Ga. to provide Summer Camp and After School services to the community. Developed a strategic plan to increase membership by partnering with Kennesaw University leading to an extensive member survey. Worked closely with elected officials to secure funding for program services and memberships. Coordinated grant writing process for multiple locations. Developed Board of Directors from scratch which became a top fundraising board over the years. Provided leadership and supervision of day-to-day operations and facility management while coordinating management and maintenance of multiple facilities. Organized the first expanded Learn to Swim Program from 12 locations to 26 locations totaling over 700 participants.
