Pacific Power, PGE, SSOE, POWER Engineers
- Creating constructable distribution designs for PGE customers, municipalities and work crews based on customer and developer requests for service in Maximo, AutoCAD and GIS. Curt works in collaboration with internal departments on capital projects in systematic upgrades and maintenance incorporating them into designs. Culminating distribution stock unit estimates for each job including overhead, underground, road widening, code compliance, development and extension projects. These jobs include constructable designs for customers, property and location requirements within setbacks & easements, and crew coordination packages.
- Designer on site with SSOE for the electrical tools used inside of the Intel R&D facility. Curt applied NEC standards and stringent client design procedures exercising judgement in adaptations and design changes. Daily meetings to coordinate and troubleshoot along with other trades routing. These were all done with a running cost analysis of materials and labor being calculated with each change throughout the design and engineering process
- Contract Designer and Field Inspector upgrading 7500+ locations with Gap collectors and Router network adapters for Puget Sound Electric. In office we used GIS map data acquisition, structure analysis, engineering design, drawing creation along with field verification, code compliance, permits and zoning requirements. Field collecting GPS data, physical location measurements, property and land use assessments along with network coordination. This regional project required daily coordination with PSE, SCL, TPU, local agencies and survey crews.
- Designer and Estimator responsible for calculations, mapping, cost analysis, structure analysis, applying standards and related tasks to assess transformers, cables and height violations for Pacific Power. Curt created folders (Appropriation requests) for each job which included detailed overviews of each project. Neighborhood plan views, traffic control plans and permit information, summary cost, facility point detail data sheet, material issue sheet, planned interruption, FAA clearance forms and job site checklists were all included when applicable.
