- I was promoted from Assistant Probation Officer to Probation Officer after three months
- I left with a caseload of 145 clients
- I conducted LSCMI assessments on intake, an evidence-based practice which helps us determine the appropriate level of supervision and determines any classes/treatment that could be beneficial to our client
- I conducted pre-sentence investigation updates as needed
- I performed the districts assigned interstate compact investigations, which includes assessments on the offender transferring into the state, along with confirmation of living environment, and case appropriate guidelines and jurisdiction
- I completed home visits on my clients on an as needed basis and was in constant collaboration with our service providers, ensuring each client is completing and participating as directed
- I monitored each client's court order to ensure compliance is being met, anywhere from drug testing frequency to community service hours
- I was trained in Moral Reconation Therapy while working for the State Penitentiary as well.
