Introducing innovation
Challenge: In order to trace a subject. Agency would have to go through years of paperwork and locate the subject in order to report back in an emergency. Trace back time was 2-40 hours.
Action: Analyzed the data we've been collecting for years to figure out a cost effective way to cut the time down on tracing a subject with no additional funding to assist.
Result: Developed a workflow process with the tools we already had in order to alleviate pulling any physical files. Trace back time 5-15 seconds
Mobile applications
Challenge: Cut down on the data entry and duplication of work. Create a workflow process which will cut down on printing, labor, replication and management of data collection
Action: Analyzed all documentation and what was required for reporting, Researched platforms that were cost effective and could be built upon at a later date if needed. Interviewed all employees to get there recommendations.
Result: 95% percent of all paperwork is being completed via mobile applications. Data is collected in real time therefore supervisors no longer have to wait for the data at the end of the month or quarter.
