Accomplishments

I was blest to become the first Female African American Court Reporter in the city of New Orleans. My career as a court reporter lasted 50 years. I retired in December of 2022. In recognition of this historical fact, I was awarded a Proclamation from the City Council of New Orleans to memorialize this honor. I thank God for being so kind in this regard.

Then I enrolled at Union Baptist College Theological Seminary in September, 2022, and just graduated and received my Masters Degree in Christian Education in May of this year, 2025.

I am grateful to God for allowing me the privilege and Joy of teaching His Word, and seeing how students come alive and find out for themselves that God is relevant and interested in their lives even in 2025.

I would want my students to know what someone shared with me years ago-

"What You are is God's Gift to You;

What You make of Yourself is Your Gift to God."
