Such equipment includes but is not limited to external and internal fetal monitoring devices, assisting with and managing epidural and PCA pumps for pain management, and both hemorrhage medications and tools, such as the Bakari Balloon and Jada for fast, effective management of blood loss.
  • Manage both low risk and high risk labor patients, including those with GDM, DM Insulin Dependent, GHT, and Pre-eclampsia.
  • Support physician as Nurse Circulator in both planned and emergent Cesarean Section procedures.
  • Function as Triage Nurse, utilizing skills learned over years of experience, to be able to make sound evaluations and recommendations to support providers in giving excellent patient care.
  • Administer medications accurately and safely under physician guidance during labor induction or augmentation processes.
