• Restructured Sourcing team to consistently achieve goals by establishing and executing clear direction and strategy, improving
  DPO , reduction in lead times and bringing avg cost reductions of 2M every year.
• Developed and implemented strategic purchasing procedures and control systems to reduce direct costs and carrying costs-Supplier Onboarding Checklist, among others.
• Lead and Supported the team on prevent or minimize supply disruptions caused by Pandemic and Post-pandemic issues/o any plant shutdowns due lack of material.

Define, develop and execute commodity sourcing strategies for above 150 suppliers , giving support to 7 plants located in North America

Identified and defined controls to improve the Procurement team activities.

• Reduced North America supply base to drive supply chain efficiency & increase spend negotiation leverage.
• Creation of our Team´s Sharepoint , including controls for Projects track, Vendor´s directory among others.

Define, develop and execute commodity sourcing strategies for above 200 suppliers , for an assigned spend of US$22 million.

• DPO Improvement -From 63 TO 80 days
• Achieved combined sourcing savings above 1.8Mio usd (Savings direct & ES events)
• Successfully transfered of the Largest Spend of Electrical Distributor /Houston plant
• Regionalization & Consolidation >300 labels from USA suppliers to Local vendor /Mx plants and >100 Electrical components transfer from USA to local distributor.

Responsible to execute Purchasing GBU strategies in site. Support to Global Commodity Team in purchasing activities.

Main Achievements

• Execution & Participation in strategic projects obtaining savings up to 4MioUSD
• Achieved & Exceed Savings Target on 2010: 6% with above 680KUSD of savings.
• Lead of the Total Cost Reduction Program (TCRP) of BOM block getting the highest results, exceeding the target on 2%
• Successfully developed a new source in China for Glass.

Responsible to Plan and Control the production of Incandescent lamps. Assure the compliance with customer service level and inventories level.

• Achieved 100% Target for the Back Order Level § Achieved Fill rate target 98%
• Successful development of Outsourcing the Blister packaging for
  Hal Products.

Responsible to ensure the supply of NPR materials according to the Internal Guidelines. Supplier
Evaluation and Selection. Placing PO. Supplier follow up. Creation of Contracts. Supplier Performance Review.

• Implementation of the E-Sourcing, bidding of different Products such as bearings with savings above 20 KUSD.
• Supported on building a New Purchasing Metrics for the MRO spend.
• Standardized of the Global Purchasing Process in the Mty plant.
• Implementation of procedures to assure the use of the supplier with a competitive cost in different services required by the plant.
• Negotiated policies and contracts with vendors to achieve optimal pricing and consistent availability.
