Liaised with Disaster Cycle Services and Service to Armed Forces lines of business as their Volunteer Services support, holding monthly individual check-in meetings with the five Chapters DPXs, the Senior DPX, DWEM and the SAF Director and SAF leads. Provided Volunteer Connection support to the region as a Volunteer Connection Lead. Planned and executed quarterly Volunteer Appreciation and/or Recognition events (virtual events during COVID), incentives programs, years of service program, and held monthly All Volunteer Calls.
Started as a Training Scheduler when PHSS stood up in 2011, promoted to Specialist.
Scheduled classes and assigned instructors to teach classes throughout the region. Taught CPR/FA/AED, C-PRO and BLS classes when no instructor available.
As Specialist, hired, onboarded, trained and supervised instructors and instructor trainers to teach Health and Safety classes throughout Mid-South Territory of Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia.
Scheduled local CPR/FA/AED, Babysitting and CPRO classes in Hardin/LaRue Service Center area and assigned instructors to teach. Taught classes in absence of another instructor.
Kept Authorized Provider agreements and instructor certifications up to date.
Ran a successful Aquatics Program during late spring and summer months to include Learn-to-Swim lessons and Lifeguarding. Trained WSIs, Lifeguards and aids to support the program.
